 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Trinidad can now relate to. They lost  6-0 to the Lyons Lions on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Trinidad has not been shut out since  back in March.
 Trinidad saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brett Kendall, who  went 3-for-3 with a  stolen base.
 On Lyons' side,  Zack LaCrosse made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. LaCrosse has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. LaCrosse was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Davis Abernathy, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3.  Jake LaCrosse was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Trinidad's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Lyons, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.
 Trinidad does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lyons, they are on the road again  on Saturday to play Holyoke at 9:00  a.m. Both teams will come into the  matchup having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
