Independence entered their tilt with Whites Creek on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 1-0 win over the Whites Creek Cobras. The one-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory got Independence back to even at 3-3. As for Whites Creek, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Independence will square off against Nolensville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Nolensville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Whites Creek, they will venture away from home to face off against Antioch at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Whites Creek's defense has only allowed 27.8 points per game this season, so Antioch's offense will have their work cut out for them.
