Rome waltzed into their game on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 62-0 win over the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs. The Wolves pushed the score to 55-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs had no chance of recovering from.

Rome's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Kennesaw Mountain, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Rome will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lovejoy at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 13.7 points per game this season, so the Wolves' offense will have their work cut out for them. Kennesaw Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
