Basketball Recap: Port Washington Comes Up Short

Port Washington lost against Whitefish Bay back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The matchup between the Port Washington Pirates and the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes didn't end well, with the Port Washington Pirates falling 57-43. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Blue Dukes are ranked 24th).

Port Washington's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Whitefish Bay, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.

Port Washington has already played their next game (against Nicolet), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Whitefish Bay will face off against Grafton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
