Yerington put the finishing touches on their 12th blowout victory of the season on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Sierra Lutheran Falcons as the Yerington Lions made off with a 14-3 win. The victory was familiar territory for Yerington who now have nine in a row.

Toby Juarez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Juarez has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Juarez was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Victor Angle, who went 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Brody Carlgren was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
