Baseball Recap: Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Comes Up Short

Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Chavez Eagles, falling 10-0. The Vipers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Chavez, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

While Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
