Burns had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Ashe County Huskies get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Burns' win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ashe County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-13.

As of now, neither Burns nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
