Basketball Recap: Richmond Gets the Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Richmond took on Forest Hills on Thursday. The Richmond Bobcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-49 victory over the Forest Hills Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bobcats also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Richmond now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Forest Hills, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richmond will host Wiscasset at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Wiscasset will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Richmond surely won't give up without a fight. As for Forest Hills, they will take on Buckfield at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Buckfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Forest Hills likes a good challenge.
