Soccer Recap: Loretto Comes Up Short

Loretto was the 2-1 winner over Horizon when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Loretto Angels took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Horizon Scorpions on Friday. The Angels' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Loretto's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Horizon, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loretto will venture away from home to challenge El Dorado at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Horizon, they will face off against Parkland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Horizon is facing Parkland at the right time seeing as Parkland is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
