            Softball Recap: Summit Storm vs. Caldera        
        
		
        
        
            Summit had lost five straight at home, but  on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 2-12-1 to make it six. They lost  14-4 to Caldera. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Caldera this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  15-0  two weeks ago.
As for Caldera, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-10. Considering they have won seven contests by more than six  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 For Caldera's part,  Elle Morton was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Izzy Allen, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Summit is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Ridgeview  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Caldera will  face off against  rival Bend  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
