Softball Recap: Dover Takes Down Ranked Concord

Dover faced Concord in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Green Wave skirted past the Crimson Tide 4-2. The win was nothing new for the Green Wave as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kaitlyn Jolicoeur spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up nine Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 6.4 strikeouts per game.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aaliyah Lafleur, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2025. Mackenzie Curry also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Dover's record now sits at 4-2. As for Concord, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dover is set to take on their familiar foe Nashua North at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Concord will face off against rival Windham at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
