Sacred Heart-Griffin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Springfield Southeast Spartans. The result was nothing new for Sacred Heart-Griffin, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Springfield Southeast with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caroline Sheehan (4), Ava Bryce Hancock (2), Bailey Murray, and Emma Johnson.

Sacred Heart-Griffin's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Springfield Southeast, they moved to 3-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
