Softball Recap: Crane Comes Up Short

Crane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-4 to the Denver City Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-1 back in March.

Crane's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Denver City, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

Looking ahead, Crane will venture away from home to face off against Stanton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Denver City, they will welcome Coahoma at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their 23rd straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
