Volleyball Recap: Clyde Fliers vs. Columbian Tornadoes
After flying high against Sandusky last Thursday, Clyde came back down to earth. The Fliers came up short against the Columbian Tornadoes on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tornadoes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-14.
Amiyah Paul paced Clyde's offense, picking up eight kills. Paul got some help from Kelsey Ray and her 19 assists.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Columbian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emma Daugherty, who had 15 digs and two assists. Daugherty is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Josie Kancler also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
