King has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 17. They lost 5-0 to the Summer Creek Bulldogs on Saturday. While losing is never fun, King can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 598th, while Summer Creek are ranked 78th).

King's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Summer Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. King will take on rival Humble at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Summer Creek is set to square off against their familiar foe Goose Creek Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
