Basketball Game Preview: McKinley Red Dragons vs. Salem Quakers

The McKinley Red Dragons and the Salem Quakers will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McKinley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season.

Last Friday, McKinley came up short against Poland Seminary and fell 51-43.

Despite the defeat, McKinley saw an underclassman step up: freshman Joey Lehman posted 14 points. Lehman continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of True Carey-Hardin, who put up nine points.

Meanwhile, Salem took a blow against East Liverpool on Saturday, falling 69-41. The loss continues a trend for the Quakers in their matchups with the Potters: they've now lost four in a row.

McKinley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
