Soccer Game Preview: Elida vs. Perkins

The Elida Bulldogs will face off against the Perkins Pirates at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Perkins will be up against a hot Elida team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Bulldogs' defense stepped up to hand Wapakoneta a 4-0 shutout on Wednesday. Lexie Good was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perkins). They put the hurt on Waite with a sharp 12-0 win on Wednesday. Perkins' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Elida's victory bumped their record up to 13-5-1. As for Perkins, their win bumped their record up to 16-2-1.
