It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Westminster School ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Hotchkiss School Bearcats. The win continues a trend for the Martlets in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won five in a row.

Matthew Shea made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Shea was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Alex Mihailovich was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run. Easton Masse was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Westminster School's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
