It's playoff time, and Pueblo South had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the D'Evelyn Jaguars 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Colts, who have now won eight games in a row.

Brody Dunlap paced Pueblo South's offense, picking up 16 kills. Dunlap got some help from Eryc Heredia and his 51 assists. Dunlap was also a major player on defense: he and Landen Cordova shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

Pueblo South's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for D'Evelyn, they moved to 23-4 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Pueblo South didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Regis Groff on the 10th. As for D'Evelyn, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Lutheran on the 9th.
