Basketball Game Recap: Oyster River Bobcats vs. Derryfield Cougars

Oyster River lost to Derryfield on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 70-35 to the Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Cougars are ranked tenth).

Oyster River has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Derryfield, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oyster River will face off against Hanover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Derryfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pelham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
