Basketball Recap: Colfax-Mingo Takes a Loss

Colfax-Mingo lost against Lynnville-Sully back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks took a blow against the Lynnville-Sully Hawks, falling 65-36.

Colfax-Mingo dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lynnville-Sully, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colfax-Mingo will welcome Montezuma at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lynnville-Sully, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against North Mahaska at 6:00 p.m. North Mahaska will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lynnville-Sully surely won't give up without a fight.
