Soccer Recap: Mishawaka Comes Up Short

Mishawaka lost against Goshen back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cavemen came up short against the RedHawks, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Mishawaka can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 261st, while Goshen are ranked fourth).

Mishawaka is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8. As for Goshen, their win bumped their record up to 8-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mishawaka will head out to face off against Plymouth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Goshen, they will square off against Bethany Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Goshen's defense better be ready for this one: Bethany Christian have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season.
