Monroe City and Palmyra are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2022, but not for long. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. Monroe City has insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.

Last Saturday, it was close, but Monroe City sidestepped Liberty for a 41-38 victory. The 41-point effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Palmyra didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Routt Catholic on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 63-57 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Monroe City's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Palmyra, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.

Monroe City beat Palmyra 62-50 in their previous meeting back in January. Does Monroe City have another victory up their sleeve, or will Palmyra turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
