Basketball Game Preview: O'Donnell Eagles vs. Anton Bulldogs

The O'Donnell Eagles will take on the Anton Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

O'Donnell is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Valley on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. O'Donnell was outmatched by Valley and fell 62-20. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Anton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 51-45 to Hamlin.

Anton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for O'Donnell, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10.
