Gerry Diaz posted a new career-low in walks on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Fort Stockton is undefeated when he allows at most three earned runs, but 9-11 otherwise.
