Baseball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline entered their matchup against Mountain View on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Skyline lost 9-3 to Mountain View. The Coyotes just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

CJ Revoir was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Julian Otero also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Mountain View, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline will square off against Gila Ridge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Skyline is facing Gila Ridge at the right time seeing as Gila Ridge is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Mountain View, they will challenge Chandler at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
