Volleyball Recap: Amanda Esmeier's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mukwonago over Brookfield East

Mukwonago lost against Brookfield East two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Spartans.

Mukwonago's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amanda Esmeier, who had 11 assists.

Mukwonago's loss dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Brookfield East, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 32-9.

Mukwonago wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Brookfield Central on the 11th. As for Brookfield East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Muskego on the 11th.
