Baseball Game Preview: Hoover Tornados vs. Oak Park Eagles

The Hoover Tornados will challenge the Oak Park Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Hoover will face Oak Park after dropping another heartbreaker against Pasadena on Tuesday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. The Tornados lost 17-3 to the Bulldogs. The Tornados haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Hoover saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kieran Sinta, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Oak Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Simi Valley, falling 9-0. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly nine runs.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Oak Park, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1.
