Basketball Game Preview: Moffat County Bulldogs vs. Aspen Skiers

Moffat County has gone a perfect 10-0 against Aspen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Moffat County Bulldogs will host the Aspen Skiers at 5:30 p.m. Moffat County will be strutting in after a win while Aspen will be coming in after a loss.

Moffat County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Coal Ridge by a score of 57-47 on Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Caitlyn Adams was nothing short of spectacular: she en route to 26 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mena Tucker, who posted six points along with 14 rebounds and six assists.

Meanwhile, Aspen played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Grand Valley, falling 43-17. The Skiers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moffat County pushed their record up to 13-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Aspen, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.

Everything came up roses for Moffat County against Aspen in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 53-26 victory. Will Moffat County repeat their success, or does Aspen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
