Soccer Recap: Newsome Wins Going Away Against Durant + How To Watch

Newsome barely beat Durant the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Wolves blew past the Cougars 4-1 on Wednesday. Colton Oifer was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Newsome used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Durant. Three players got more time on the pitch than they're used to: Chance Fowler (80), Oifer (80), and Luca Savino (80). The trio had averaged 55, 58, and 48 minutes respectively before Wednesday's contest. Oifer made the most of the opportunity, scoring three goals A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Newsome's record is now 5-0. As for Durant, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1-1.
