While Parklane Academy put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Oak Forest Academy. The Pioneers came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 4-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Pioneers' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Not much got past George Glass, who gave up just three hits to keep Oak Forest Academy off the board.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Braxton Hughes, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jax Toler, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Parklane Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Oak Forest Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-6.
