Basketball Game Preview: Poultney Blue Devils vs. Leland & Gray Rebels

The Poultney Blue Devils and the Leland & Gray Rebels will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Poultney lost to West Rutland on the road by a 66-50 margin.

Meanwhile, Leland & Gray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 61-44 to Grace Christian. One positive for the Rebels, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Poultney's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Leland & Gray, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Poultney was able to grind out a solid win over Leland & Gray when the teams last played back in January, winning 67-56. Does Poultney have another victory up their sleeve, or will Leland & Gray turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
