Sage Creek won the last time they faced Mission Hills and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Grizzlies 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

Lucas Henson was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

In other pitching news, Sage Creek got a great performance from Josh Schutz as he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Schutz has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Henson wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Van Eidle, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Those two hits gave Eidle a new career-high.

Sage Creek's record is now 7-16. As for Mission Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Grizzlies beat Sage Creek by a score of 13-1 on Friday.
