While Radnor's win against Marple Newtown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raptors won by a goal and slipped past the Fightin' Tigers 3-2. Given Radnor's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 97th, while Marple Newtown are ranked 236th) , the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Radnor's victory bumped their record up to 5-1-3. As for Marple Newtown, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Coming up, Radnor will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Lower Merion at 4:00 p.m. Lower Merion will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Radnor surely won't give up without a fight. As for Marple Newtown, they are taking a road trip to face off against Penncrest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Penncrest's last six games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
