            For the second straight game, King will face off against Hamden Hall Country Day. The Vikings are taking a road trip to  square off against the Hornets  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
Last Tuesday, King didn't have quite enough to beat Hamden Hall Country Day and fell  4-2. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
For Hamden Hall Country Day's part,  Nic Scillia and  Amato Civitello were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing,  Scillia   tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. Meanwhile,  Civitello   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because Hamden Hall Country Day is undefeated when he allows at  most  one  walk, but 2-5 otherwise. At the plate,  Scillia  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 1-for-4, while  Civitello  went 1-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Luca Faulkner, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  stolen base.  Atticus Bird also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
 King now  has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hamden Hall Country Day,  the  victory  got them back to even at 5-5.
