Dayln Dawkins and James Quick both reached the end zone three times apiece to put Trinity in the Kentucky Class 6-A state finals against Scott County next week. Dawkins rushed for 272 yards on 26 carries while quarterback Travis Wright completed 11 of 16 passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns.

There was no need for four overtimes this time as Central whipped Belen Jesuit behind the duo of Joseph Yearby and Dalvin Cooke. Yearby ran for 244 yards on 18 carries with two touchdowns while Cooke added 113 yards on 11 carries with two touchdowns. The two teams played a four-overtime thriller in their initial meeting with Central winning 59-56.
