Softball Game Preview: Puxico Indians vs. East Carter Redbirds

Puxico hasn't had much luck against East Carter recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Puxico will head out on the road to face off against East Carter at 4:30 p.m.

Puxico came up short against Leopold on Monday, falling 12-3.

Meanwhile, East Carter had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 11-8. 11 seems to be a good number for the Redbirds as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

East Carter's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Puxico, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Puxico suffered a grim 18-2 defeat to East Carter in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Can Puxico avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
