Westminster has gone 9-1 against Winters Mill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Owls challenge the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Westminster is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games.

Last Friday, Westminster got the win against Century by a conclusive 57-35. Given the Owls' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Knights are ranked 181st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Winters Mill lost to South Carroll at home by a 43-29 margin on Tuesday. The Falcons have struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Westminster pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points over those games. As for Winters Mill, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Westminster took their victory against Winters Mill when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 62-39. Will Westminster repeat their success, or does Winters Mill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
