Soccer Recap: Seguin Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Seguin was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against the Burbank Bulldogs, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in February.

Seguin has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15-1 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Burbank and bumps their season record up to 14-5-4.

Coming up, Seguin will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Brackenridge at 11:30 a.m. As for Burbank, they are taking a road trip to challenge Edison at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Burbank is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
