Soccer Recap: Clovis Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Clovis faced off against Alamogordo on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Clovis have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Ava Evans, who's now up to two this season.

Clovis has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-4-1 record this season. As for Alamogordo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Clovis wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Lovington on the 2nd. As for Alamogordo, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Artesia on the 4th.
