Hampton put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Heritage Hurricanes 17-2. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Crabbers this season.

Jaycob Flores was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Nate Peek also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Hampton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Heritage only posted an OBP of .300.

Hampton pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Heritage, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Hampton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hurricanes: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
