Basketball Recap: Tucson High Magnet School Piles Up the Points Against Browne

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mica Mountain, Tucson High Magnet School was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Browne Bruins, posting a 55-18 victory. Given the Badgers' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Bruins are ranked 237th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Tucson High Magnet School back to even at 6-6. As for Browne, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Tucson High Magnet School and Canyon del Oro will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Browne, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kofa at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
