Basketball Recap: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 63-55 victory over the North Murray Mountaineers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 69-62 victory last Friday.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zyan Eastman, who went 6-for-7 en route to 15 points and eight boards. The dominant performance also gave Eastman a new career-high in field goal percentage (86%). Another player making a difference was Darian Keefe, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 14 points and six assists.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for North Murray, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.
