Volleyball Recap: Grant Beats West Park for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Grant waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the West Park Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Pacers: when they faced off against the Panthers back in March, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Grant took West Park into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-19, 25-15, 20-25, 15-12.

Grant was led to victory by Eason Lor and Taejon Jackson. Lor had 14 assists and six digs, while Jackson had 13 digs and four assists. That's the most assists Jackson has posted since back in March.

West Park's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Vince Sison, who had 15 digs and three assists.

Grant pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for West Park, they moved to 16-9 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
