Soccer Game Preview: Northeast vs. John Bartram

The Northeast Vikings will face off against the John Bartram Braves at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. John Bartram took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Northeast, who comes in off a win.

While Northeast's victory against Samuel Fels wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings skirted past the Panthers 3-2. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Northeast's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Samuel Fels are ranked 393rd).

Meanwhile, John Bartram unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 5-2 to George Washington.

Northeast's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for John Bartram, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Northeast took their victory against John Bartram in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 4-1 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
