After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Blythewood brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Sumter Gamecocks on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bengals as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Blythewood's record is now 15-5. As for Sumter, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blythewood will face off against South Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bengals 3.5, the Bruins 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Sumter, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
