There's no place like home for Monache, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Redwood Rangers on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Marauders: when they faced off against the Rangers last Tuesday, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

Tyson Harrington looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lewis Green, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Monache's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-4. As for Redwood, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-5.
