Basketball Recap: Thief River Falls Beats Crookston for Their Third Straight Win

Thief River Falls entered their tilt with Crookston on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 71-49 margin over the Crookston Pirates. The Prowlers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Thief River Falls has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Crookston, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Thief River Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 74-57 win against Roseau on the 17th. Crookston has also already played their next game, a 73-27 defeat against Menahga on the 18th.
