Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Immaculata-La Salle walked away with it. They took down the Edison Red Raiders 71-52 on Tuesday. The Royal Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Candy Cruz, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards. What's more, she also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Elisa Fontani, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.

Immaculata-La Salle was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win was the third in a row for Immaculata-La Salle, bringing their record for this year to 17-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Edison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Immaculata-La Salle will square off against Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart on Thursday. Immaculata-La Salle has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
