Softball Recap: West Perry Comes Up Short

West Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Northern York Polar Bears, falling 13-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Polar Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in April.

West Perry saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addi Lupfer, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

West Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Northern York, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Perry will take on Bermudian Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 11.1 runs per game this season. As for Northern York, they will host Shippensburg at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Polar Bears will need to watch out since the Greyhounds have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
